Note:

(a) Define a Theodolite. Classify the different types of theodolites used in surveying.
थियोडोलाइट को परिभाषित कीजिये। सर्वेक्षण में इस्तेमाल होने वाले अलग-अलग तरह के थियोडोलाइट्स का वर्गीकरण करें।
(b) Discuss various sources of errors in Theodolite surveying and their prevention.
थियोडोलाइट सर्वेक्षण में गलतियों के अलग-अलग सोर्स और उन्हें रोकने के तरीकों पर चर्चा करें।
(a) Describe the procedure for determining the height and distance of an inaccessible point by trigonometric levelling.
ट्रिगोनोमेट्रिक लेवलिंग द्वारा किसी दुर्गम बिंदु की ऊँचाई और दूरी निर्धारित करने की प्रक्रिया का वर्णन कीजिए।
(b) Define Tacheometry and explain its principle and importance in mining surveys.
टैकोमीट्री को परिभाषित कीजिये और खनन सर्वेक्षण में इसके सिद्धान्त और महत्व को समझाइए।
(a) What is an auto-reduction tacheometer? Explain the subtense bar method of tacheometry.

(b) Compare stadia, tangential and subtense methods of tacheometry.
