Note: (i) Attempt any five questions.

चट्टानों के लिए तनाव-विकृति संबंधों को समझाइए।
(b) Discuss effect of temperature and pressure on rock behaviour.
चट्टान के व्यवहार पर तापमान और दाब के प्रभाव पर चर्चा कीजिये।

(b) Discuss methods for measurement of in-situ stresses.
चट्टान के समस्थानिक तनावों के मापन की विधियों पर चर्चा कीजिए।
(a) Explain theories of rock failure
चट्टान के टूटने के सिद्धांतों की व्याख्या कीजिए।
(b) Discuss post-failure behaviour and time-dependent properties of rocks.
चट्टानों के टूटने के बाद के व्यवहार और समय पर निर्भर गुणों पर चर्चा कीजिए।
