Note: i) Attempt any five questions.

a) State the principles of motion economy. (7)
गति अर्थव्यवस्था के सिद्धातों को बताइए।
b) Explain the importance of standardisation of motion before taking time study. (7)
समय अध्ययन करने से पहले गति के मानकीकरण के महत्व को
समझाइए।
With neat sketches and brief explanation of their utility. Clearly distinguish between the following: (14)

a) What are the objectives of work measurement in an industry? (7)
किसी उद्योग में कार्य मापन के उद्देश्य क्या हैं?
b) What are objectives of Time Study. (7)
समय अध्ययन के उद्देश्य क्या हैं?
A work sampling study showed that 25% of a work week of 48 hours was consumed by avoidable delays. If each time a work sampling observation was made the operator was rated and the average of such rating was 110%. If 80 units were produced by the operator in that period. Calculate standard time. (14)
एक कार्य प्रतिचयन अध्ययन से पता चला है कि 48 घंटों के कार्य सप्ताह का
25% समय परिहार्य देरी में व्यतीत हुआ। यदि प्रत्येक बार कार्य नमूनाकरण
अवलोकन किया गया तो ऑपरेटर को रेटिंग दी गई और ऐसी रेटिंग का
औसत 110% था यदि उस अवधि में ऑपरेटर द्वारा 80 इकाइयाँ उत्पादित
की गई। मानक समय की गणना करें।
a) What do you understand by Standard data? What are its advantages? (7)

b) Give the list of various advantages of using "Predetermined Motion Time Standards". (7)

a) How will you integrate 'operation and operator'? (7)

b) Define Ergonomics. Describe the objectives of the study of Ergonomics. (7)
