(a) Explain the electromagnetic spectrum with relevance to remote sensing.
रिमोट सेंसिंग के संदर्भ में विद्युतचुंबकीय स्पेक्ट्रम की व्याख्या कीजिए।
(b) Describe the typical spectral reflectance curves of vegetation, soil, and water.
वनस्पति, मृदा तथा जल की विशिष्ट स्पेक्ट्रल परावर्तन (Spectral Reflectance) वक्रों का वर्णन कीजिए।

इमेज वर्गीकरण क्या है? इसके विभिन्न प्रकारों की व्याख्या कीजिए।
(b) What are map projections? Explain any two basic classes.
मानचित्र प्रक्षेपण क्या होते हैं? किसी भी दो मूलभूत वर्गों की व्याख्या कीजिए।

GIS में विशेषता (Attribute) डेटा तथा उसके प्रबंधन का वर्णन कीजिए।
(b) Explain the application of GIS and RS in water resource management.
जल संसाधन प्रबंधन में GIS एवं रिमोट सेंसिंग के अनुप्रयोग की व्याख्या कीजिए।

रिमोट सेंसिंग के मूलभूत घटकों तथा इसकी सीमाओं का वर्णन कीजिए।
(b) Explain energy interaction with Earth's surface and atmosphere with a neat diagram.
पृथ्वी की सतह एवं वायुमंडल के साथ ऊर्जा की अंतः क्रिया (Energy Interaction) को एक सुव्यवस्थित आरेख के साथ समझाइए।

डिजिटल इमेज प्रोसेसिंग में सुपरवाइज़्ड वर्गीकरण (Supervised Classification) की विधि की व्याख्या कीजिए।

वनस्पति सूचकांक (Vegetation Index) क्या है? किसी एक सूचकांक की व्याख्या करते हुए उसके महत्व को बताइए।

स्थानिक इकाइयाँ (Spatial Entities) क्या होती हैं? बिंदु (Point), आरेख (Line) तथा बहुभुज (Polygon) को उदाहरण सहित समझाइए।
