a) What are the various factors affecting the rate analysis?

a) Prepare the rate analysis for lime concrete in foundation with 40 mm down brick ballast, lime and surkhi proportional 1:2:6.

a) Explain mid-sectional area method of calculating the quantity of earthwork for road estimating.

सड़क के आकलन के लिए मिट्टी के काम की मात्रा की गणना करने की मध्य-अनुभागीय क्षेत्र विधि की व्याख्या करें।

b) Estimate the quantities of brickwork and plastering required in a wall 4 m long, 3 m high and 30cm thick. Calculate also the cost if the rate of brickwork is Rs. 320 per cu. m and of plastering is Rs. 8.50 per sq m.

4 मीटर लंबी, 3 मीटर ऊँची और 30 सेमी मोटी दीवार में आवश्यक ईंटवर्क और प्लास्टर की मात्रा का अनुमान लगाओ। लागत की भी गणना करें यदि ईंटवर्क की दर 320 रुपये प्रति घन मीटर है और प्लास्टरिंग की दर 8.50 रुपये प्रति वर्ग मीटर है।

a) What is Year's Purchase (Y.P.)? Work out the value of year's purchase for an old building if its future life is 15 years and the rate of interest is 7% on capital and 4% for sinking fund.
