a) State different types approximate estimate. Illustrate any one with example. (6)

b) Explain principles of estimating. What are the general rules to be adopted for the measurement of various items of work? (8)
एस्टीमेट तैयार करने के सिद्धांतों की व्याख्या करें। कार्य की विभिन्न वस्तुओं की माप के लिए अपनाए जाने वाले सामान्य नियम क्या हैं?
a) Explain the data required for preparation of detailed estimate. (6)
विस्तृत एस्टीमेट तैयार करने के लिए आवश्यक डाटा की व्याख्या करें।
b) Prepare approximate estimate of a building from following data:
- Plinth area - 180 sqm.
- Plinth area rate - Rs. 3500/sqm.
- Special architectural treatment - 1% of cost of building
- Electrification charges - 8% of cost of building
- Water supply and sanitary installation - 5% of cost of building
- Contingencies - 3% of cost of building
- Supervisor charges - 3% of cost of building
निम्नलिखित आंकड़ों से एक इमारत का अनुमानित एस्टीमेट तैयार करें:
- प्लिन्थ क्षेत्र - 180 वर्गमीटर
- प्लिन्थ क्षेत्र दर - रू. 3500/वर्गमीटर

a) Define task work and state the factors affecting task work. (6)

b) Describe the long wall and short wall method of estimating with suitable example. (8)
उपयुक्त उदाहरण के साथ लांग वाल और शार्ट वाल के आकलन की विधि का वर्णन करें।
a) Explain the rules for deduction in masonry and plastering work. (6)
चिनाई और पलस्तर कार्य में कटौती के नियम बताइए।
b) The formation level at starting chainage of a road is 530.00 m. The road surface has rising gradient of 1 in 100. The side slopes are 2:1 for embankment and 1.5:1 for cutting. Work out the quantity of earthwork for road using following data. (8)
एक सड़क की प्रारंभिक श्रृंखला पर निर्माण स्तर 530.00 मीटर है। सड़क की सतह का ढलान 100 में से 1 है। किनारों पर ढलान कटबन्ध के लिए 2:1 और कटाई के लिए 1.5:1 है। निम्नलिखित डेटा का उपयोग करके सड़क के लिए मिट्टी के काम की मात्रा की गणना करें।

a) Explain sinking fund and its importance in detail. (6)
सिंकिंग फण्ड और उसके महत्व को विस्तार से समझाइए।
b) What is the purpose of valuation? Explain in brief different methods of valuation. (8)
मूल्यांकन का उद्देश्य क्या है? मूल्यांकन की विभिन्न विधियों को संक्षेप में समझाइए।
a) What is overhead cost? Enumerate various expense to be included in this. (6)

b) What is DPR? Discuss the content of DPR in detail. (8)
