a) Explain the various aircraft characteristics affecting the planning and design of airport.
हवाई अड्डे की योजना और डिजाइन को प्रभावित करने वाले विभिन्न विमान विशेषताओं की व्याख्या करें।
b) The length of runway under standard conditions is 2400 m. The elevation of airport site is 400 m. The reference temperature of the runway site is 40°C, if the runway is to be constructed with an effective gradient of 0.3%, calculate the corrected length of runway.
मानक परिस्थितियों में runway की लंबाई 2400 मीटर है। हवाई अड्डा स्थल की ऊँचाई 400 मीटर है। रनवे site का reference तापमान 40°C है यदि रनवे का निर्माण 0.3% की प्रभावी ढाल के साथ किया जाना है, तो रनवे की सही लंबाई की गणना करें।

हवाई अड्डे के रनवे के ज्यामितीय तत्वों की व्याख्या करें।
b) Derive an expression for finding super elevation of highway.
